When A Child Is Born

当新生命诞生时

A ray of hope flickers in the sky,

一线生机在天空中闪烁

a tiny star lights up way up high.

一颗亮星照亮了天上的路

All across the land,dawns a brand new morn.

横穿越大地开启了崭新的黎明

This comes to pass,when a child is born.

而这一切的发生，都因一个新生命的诞生

A silent wish sails the seven seas,

一个无声之愿穿过七大洋

the wind of change whisper in the trees.

变革之风在树上低语

And the walls of doubt, crumble tost and torn.

猜忌之墙逐渐土崩瓦解

This comes to pass,when a child is born.

而这一切的发生，都因一个新生命的诞生

A rosy hue settles all around,

一个玫红色的光闪四周

You got the feel

你感觉到了

You’re on solid ground,

你在厚实的大地上

For a spell of two,no one seems forlorn

有一段时间，没人会被遗弃

This comes to pass, when a child is born.

而这一切的发生，都因一个新生命的诞生

（And all of this happens because the world is waiting,

这一切的发生，皆因世界在期待。

Waiting for one child. 

Black, white, yellow,no one knows,

期待一个新生命的诞生。

黑、白、黄，无人得知。

But a child that will grow up. 

And turns tears to laughter,hates to love, war to peace.

但可知他会长大。

化泪为笑，划恨为爱，化干戈为玉帛。

And everyone to everyone's neighbour,

and misery and suffering,

will be words to be forgotten forever.

四海一家，而磨难与苦楚尽皆永被遗忘。

It's all a dream, an illusion now, 

it must come true sometime soon, sometime how.

而现在这只是憧憬、虚幻

但总会实现，或早或晚
